Actually useful advice.

Hey, I’m Dan!

I graduated Stanford in ‘22, and have been helping folks apply for US universities for the last couple years!

USABO, Scholastic, nonprofit, startup, book, research, uni classes; my life in HS was all over the place, and making sense of it for college applications was rough. Good grades and scores really aren’t enough anymore; we’ve gotta be funny and quirky and cure cancer while releasing hits on Spotify.

I realized that college admissions doesn’t have to be stressful, or mysterious. There’s tons of little tricks we can do to really supercharge an application, and I’ll be honest with you on what’ll work and what won’t. I help about 10 kids a year apply to competitive colleges (HYPSM) in the US! Read below, and let’s see if we’re a fit!

No bullshit, actual results.

I (literally) wrote the book on (Stanford) college admissions.

We’ll do everything to help you succeed.

Early in HS? Let’s find out what to explore. Later on? Let’s ruthlessly prioritize time. Ready to apply? We’ll do everything from picking unis to mock interviews to finding the perfect word for that sentence.

The personalized, honest, process works: 21 out of 28 of the folks I’ve worked with are at their first choice HYPSM.
